• During my time here, my responsibilities included:
• First Assisting/ Scrubbing all her cases. I am the sole assistant/tech for most of her cases.
• I was also trained on how to sow and apply all dressings needed for the patient.
• Setting up all necessary equipment, medications, and supplies before all cases.
• Sterile Processing of all instrumentation and turnover of room after every case

Cases I do here:

• Breast augmentation cases: implants, removal and replacement, mastopexy, breast reduction.
• Abdominoplasty, brachioplasty, liposuction of all areas of the body, blepharoplasty, facelift, and otoplasty.

During my time here, my responsibilities included:

• demonstrating excellent knowledge of sterile technique and instrumentation maintenance.
• Assisted in the operating room by passing instruments and assisting the surgeon during procedures. In addition to applying dressings to patients.
• I was also properly trained on how to scrub and set up for DaVinci cases.

Services I do here:

• Lots of General, OBGYN, Robots (DaVinci)
• Some Ortho, ENT, Plastics.

• Here I have spent about a year doing current rotation experience. I have scrubbed in over 350 cases during my time here and am proficient in many services. I am board certified and have a associates in surgical sciences. During my rotations I was placed in ortho, neuro, hands, plastics, some cvor, general, urology, podiatry, vascular. I am comfortable working by myself and am more than ready to work. I adapt quick and can be molded into the perfect employee for any facility.

Duties:

• Assisted surgeons in the operating room by preparing and passing instruments, equipment, and supplies to them during surgery.
• Prepared operating rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies and equipment needed for specific procedures.
• Maintained a sterile field environment throughout surgical procedures.
• Applied knowledge of surgical procedures to anticipate needs of surgeon throughout intraoperative phase.

• Greeted customers and answered questions, assisting with needs and finding items.
• Performed general store maintenance for clean store appearance.
• Used sales tactics to sell products to customers and increase store sales.
• I also provided my skills as a Phlebotomist for Clinical Facials such as 'Vampire Facials.' This required me to practice venipuncture through a butterfly needle to withdraw blood. After drawing blood it is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the blood from the plasma which then allows the esthetician to re-inject the plasma back into the skin.
