Assist in managing a range of Quality and Food Safety programs and coordinates verification of HAACP Plan and Food Safety Critical Control Points/Preventive Control Points. Work collectively with production department and managers to monitor, record and report data.
Responsible for monitoring Food Safety and Quality throughout the manufacturing process. I help operators to abide by GMP's, SOP, and SSOP's by explaining correct procedures. I record and non-
conformity and report them to supervisors and management. I am inclined to continuous improvement,
driving results and assisting in problem solving/root cause investigations of quality and food safety related
production problems.
I oversee and help with cleaning operations and verify with ATP checks, confirm product is pulled for
the product library and sampling for external and internal analysis. I follow and record the traceability of
products, ingredients and packaging and inform management of any traceability deviation. Responsible
for creating and updating documentation for food safety and quality and lab processes. I conduct
environmental sampling at the required frequency in adherence to the Environmental Monitoring
Program.
Conducting internal quality audits and providing summary of internal audit observations and findings
is another duty as well as organizing sensory testing/tastings of products products. I assist with QA
personnel and production with 3rd party audit preparations and ongoing projects. I maintain proper
calibration/verification of laboratory equipment and provide training and education to staff regarding the
integration of Food Safety.
