I was in a life altering accident in 2005. I was comatose for six weeks. I relearned to walk, and speak again.
My Doctor suggested returning to school to re-acclimate myself socially and to increase my verbal communication skills.
I have been very blessed to experience so much assistance, encouragement, and kindness to be where I am currently. I love working with children and giving positive direction from my previous experiences, good and bad!
I have been to several higher institutions both technical and collegiate.
my circumstances have prevented me from finishing sooner, but I won't give up. I made a promise to my youngest son that recently passed, that I wouldn't stop. I want to serve as an example of positive perserverance to him and others!
