This is my current occupation in which I have the opportunity to train and work in inpatient and outpatient settings; including adult, pediatrics and obstetrics, with wide disease spectrum.
• Collaborate with residents, attendings, consultants, pharmacists, nurses, secretaries, social workers, and other healthcare team members to advocate for and ensure quality patient care.
• Assess and interprets lab reports, imaging, EKGs then act on any abnormal results through treatment planning.
• Practice daily utilization of electronic medical record systems and documentation.
• Responsible for overseeing and educating medical and PA students.

• Responsible to perform scholarly activity; wrote a grant to secure the purchase of a birthing simulator to enhance OB knowledge

• Coordinating with our research director for quality improvement projects along with research

Medical Scribe at UNC Hospital Department of Urology (January 2017 – June 2018)

• Used Epic Electronic Health Records to record urology patients medical data and care plan
• Assisted physicians in accessing all relevant test results and medical information

Medical Scribe at Horizon Family Medicine Johnston County, NC (September 2016 – May 2018)

• Documented medical history of a variety of patients in a family medicine setting
• Reported medical data discrepancies to physicians and nursing staff
• Facilitated effective communication between healthcare providers by accurately recording diagnostic test results and treatment plans.
