While reporting directly to the Head of School, collaborating and engaging with executive board, administration, and staff and faculty to make decisions that guide the direction of the school as a member of the leadership team managing a $5M budget

• Overseeing and researching racial equity, diversity and inclusion professional development for faculty, staff and education of parent community
• Planning and organizing community events and fundraisers that promote cultural awareness
• Networking with area schools and communities to build stronger, more diverse relationships
• Developing, designing, coordinating and building systems to manage personnel, incident reporting and communications protocols, schedules, budgets, and payroll approval
• Strategic designing and planning of school programs and curriculum to reflect social awareness, education, and justice that is pedagogically appropriate for school aged children
• Mentoring, coaching, evaluating and assessing professional development of educators across several subject areas through lens of social justice, equity and diversity

• RISE for Racial Justice Program Manager and Lead Facilitator co-facilitating online workshops on creating awareness and addressing progress on systemic inequality, racial identity development, and community research preparation to cohorts that include public and private schools, department of public safety and other affinity groups to address social justice, housing justice, environmental justice, mental health, and gender advocacy
• Alma Partners online and in-person workshops to school faculty, staff and parents on racial literacy, systemic inequality, contextualizing curriculum, crisis intervention, individual teacher coaching and mentorship, and racial identity development; Design, develop and teach awareness to communities, schools, businesses and organizations around social justice, housing justice, environmental justice, mental health, and gender advocacy; Supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to increase morale and relationship building
• AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools for North America) BIPOC Advisory Board where I consult with Executive Management Board to update policies intended to increase diversity and accessibility of Waldorf education in North America and was a keynote speaker at national conferences in 2022 and 2033 on education through lens of diversity, equity and inclusion; Re-imagining Teacher Preparation Program Researcher developing a teacher training prototype to address obstacles to accessibility for prospective educators
• Consultant to help teachers in training and existing faculty increase confidence during challenging conversations around cultural diversity and curriculum design through in-person and online workshops focusing on diversity, equity and social justice in their schools and their local communities in over 15 schools across 5 states on contextualizing curriculum for contemporary education educators and students

Managing financial responsibilities such as

• Balancing budget, receiving and distributing payment to vendors and stakeholders for non-profit organization
• Planning and writing charter bylaws for petition approval of urban school initiative rooted in social justice in urban sectors of Los Angeles Unified School District Researching community interests, history, social trends, concerns, legislation and infrastructure to align charter bylaws to meet actual community needs
• Reviewed processes and procedures to guide program implementation and optimize auditing
• Reviewed contracts financially impacting company and counseled executive leaders on impact contracts would have on company operations

Teaching grade 1 through 8 in independent school environments based Waldorf pedagogy

• Assessing and recording academic progress through observations, class projects, formative and summative assessments, performances, and oral presentations Implementation and delivery of curriculum to children aged seven through fourteen to meet age differences and learning differences as children progressed through grades
• Founder and Chair of Diversity Committee, guiding community through expanding conversations around diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and community relationship building
• Recommending support services and/or assessments and applying professional recommendations in classroom based on individual and/or group needs
