At the start of the Covid shut down, I moved to doing custom metal fabrication. Projects, such but not limited to as rod iron railing, cable railing, driveway gates, storefront garage doors, stairways , mailboxes, dog boxes, stainless steel kitchen hoods, side by side roll cages, and a couple deer stands. I was responsible for all the installations as well.
I held the same position at each one of these race teams. In the shop, I was responsible for the fabrication and building of the race cars, scheduling any work that had to be outsourced, ordering parts, materials, and supplies. Maintenance of all the mechanicals of a race car. Maintenance of the car hauler. Scheduling of track rentals, hotel rooms, and travel for crew members. I had one to three full-time shop employees, depending on the team. Most importantly, making them turn left and go fast.
I take the upmost pride in the work that I produce. I am driven by having the best results and best finished product. In racing, I was always known for thinking outside the box and being an innovator. I enjoy doing the same thing in Metal fabrication.
