  • I worked with 4th and 5th grade small groups who needed extra support with reading and other subjects as needed.
  • I conducted literary assessments, entered the students data into an online data system, monitor progress, plan and set goals. I also mentored many students.
  • When I didn't have tutoring groups, I was stationed in the schools family resource center. I gave out clothing, hygiene items, school supplies and food to kids in need. I also give out food backpacks on fridays for kids who need food assistance for the weekends.
  • I also helped with readifest, school dances, pep rallies, food drives, clothing drives, subbed for teachers, supervise dental visit, veterans day event, kindness week, attendance incentives and many more school events. Community service is also a large part of this role.

  • I have done over 2,000 hours of volunteer work with the Baptist Health Corbin, Grays Pentecostal Church and University of the Cumberlands
  • I volunteered at the Longest Day of Play where I helped lead kids in various games and activities
  • I’ve helped with Angels Unaware with shopping, wrapping gifts and distributing gifts to the children in need
  • I also work with the youth at my church and I am one of the youth leaders
