Communicate with various departments and supervisors to assess workloads, personnel availability, resources needed, and primary project issues. Responsible for surveying utility lines, engineering line designs, drafting, and feasibility cost estimates for utility extensions reservation-wide. Prepare 'as-built' drawings from data on completed work orders, assist, and obtain right-of-way, archaeological clearances, and similar field clearances. Perform field verifications, mark points of measurement with elevation, station number, and other identifying marks, and check completed maps. Contact customers to investigate conditions and obtain the necessary information for the completion of requests for new service.
