Keri Johnson

Oversee all programming and events involving the 4th and 5th grade ministry which facilitate the delivery and presentation the Gospel and student discipleship. Also assist in planning / preparation / execution with 1st-5th grade and church-wide events as a whole.

Job Description:

• Evaluated and introduced age-appropriate curriculum and materials for children based on weekly lesson plans.
• Recruit, train, and weekly communicate with Bible Study Leadership in both teaching and safety procedures
• Take part in planning / overseeing Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, and other 4th and 5th grade specific events throughout the year
• Weekly communication with parents. Look for ministry opportunities with families
• Plan and prepare materials for weekend Bible Study
• Adhered to security processes and sign-in and sign-out procedures for children, parents and visitors.
• Provide support of the Children's team as a whole, and assist in the implementation of programming as needed
• Follow up with visitors and help them integrate into our church family
• Decision and Baptism Counseling

• Kept track of time and scores during games
• Trained and evaluated new scorekeepers to impart understanding of rules, regulations and standards.
• Navigated difficult situations using effective communication and explanation of game rules.
