READING, MUSIC, TRAVEL. ACTIVE GRANDMOTHER AND FRIEND.

Wife of 42 years. Mother of 4, grandmother of 9.   I chose to be a stay at home mom early in life and started nursing school in my 30's with 4 kids under the age of 14. I have never regretted the career path I've chosen and would do it all over again.  I like a good book and a cup of coffee and you may catch me singing out loud when I think I'm by myself. My love for music is diverse, and I like to change it up at any given time. Soft Rock, Classic Rock are probably my favorite, but grew up with a Dad and brothers who played guitar and would sing some good country or gospel at any family get together. I love to travel and I am finally able to do this a little better since the kids are grown.  Our traveling when the kids were small stayed pretty limited, although I still love the camping and outdoors, a nice waterfall and fall foilage. Being a grandmother has showed me a love a that brings pure joy and anticipation with every visit.  My best friend is my husband but also the friendship of some long time gals who have been there thru thick and thin.  I am very thankful for the friendships that have developed in my career. People need each other.  I also follow .....The Titans, The Preds and Go Braves!
