Responsible for all catering events. Meeting and working to exceed projected monthly sales goals. Overseeing event staff. Marketing of monthly specials. Creation and distribution of thorough and detailed function sheets for each event and catering order. Maintain and open line of communication between office and the chefs/cooks preparing catering orders. Quick problem solving/troubleshooting as problems arose during events. Was also responsible for overseeing dining room staff. This included section assignments for lunch and dinner service ensuring that side work was completed after each shift. Communicating with residents in dining rooms and solving issues as the arose. Worked closely with the dining room manager on interviewing, hiring and training of all front of house staff.
