Career Summary and Goals

After graduating from a diploma RN program, I began my 31-year career as an RN in Surgical Intensive Care. I was fortunate to be directly involved and responsible for the post operative care of heart transplant and kidney transplant patients. Surgical Intensive Care, as well as the Cardiac Cath Lab, encompass 22 years of my career. To gain additional experience as an administrator, I worked as House Supervisor for Covenant hospital for approximately 2 years. It was during this time that I returned to school and attained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I then began employment at the VA outpatient clinic, which enabled me to give back to our Veteran population. I have been employed as a Cath Lab travel RN since 10/01/21.
