• Advise customers on lumber and hardware uses

• Assist customers with special orders and installed sales
• Forklift Operator that provides safe and efficient operation of the vehicle according to OSHA standards
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift
• Maintain the facilities equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Assist customers with needs
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained

• Answer and respond to customer inquiries, requirements, and needs

• Verify documents and reports in accordance to the unloaded merchandise
• Execute housekeeping duties
• Maintain stockroom in a systematic and orderly manner
• Initiate and implement safety procedures and standards
• Receive and unload trucks on a dock
• Safely move product to storage locations and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area
• Ensures shipments are accurate and free from damage
• Scan and process freight
• Separate freight shipments by department
• Break down pallets
• Load empty pallets on trailer
