Additional Information
The Sringeri Sharadha Peetham represents one of the most esteemed centers of Hindu philosophy and training. The Matha (religious order) was founded by Shankaracharya in the 7th century as one of the four principal centers of advaitic philosophy in the country. Hinduism has many philosophical branches, and the advaitic branch is the most widely known. Sringeri was chosen as a location by Shankaracharya due to its location in South India. Although Hinduism is not a hierarchical religion, the Matha and its religious head are symbolically the most prominent leading institution and leading head of Hinduism. The Matha has had an unbroken succession of gurus for over 1400 years and has trained thousands of priests from all over India over the millennia. Besides being a centre of spiritual power, Sringeri also is also known as a great place of traditional learning owing to the presence of Goddess Sharada and the erudition of the Acharyas of the Peetham. The Acharyas were instrumental in bringing forth commentaries on the Vedas and in further expounding the Bhashyas of Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The Acharyas also wrote a number of independent works related to Advaita besides producing a number of hymns underlining their ardent devotion to the non-dual Supreme worshipped in multifarious forms. The Peetham thus has come to be regarded as the Vyakhyana Simhasana, The Throne of Transcendental Wisdom, and represents one of the most prominent places from which a Hindu priest can be trained.

I was trained by the My Guru and had received a certificates and working for this institute, and obtained vigorous experience in performing Hindu Religious rituals that makes me highly qualified for the position of priest.
