  • Medical Student for a Day is a 1-day program designed to outreach, promote, and increase awareness of the osteopathic route of medicine for current college students who identify as underrepresented in medicine.
  • Immersive medical curriculum and case-based learning workshops were created to provide a broad array of hands-on learning opportunities for students. Workshops included stations for variety of clinical skills including identification of various pathologies on cadavers, ultrasound, EKG, and BP stations.
  • Established a partnership with Kaplan Prep to provide free Kaplan MCAT books to selected students.
  • Encouraged formation of collegial relationships between URM students in attendance to create strong support networks in the journey to medical school.
