Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and child development specialists.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to children.
Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.
NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST
Manage newborn care during the first weeks of life.
Feeding, bathing, swaddling and changing newborn

Help prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children.
Supervise and assist with homework.
Assign appropriate chores and praise targeted behaviors to encourage development of self-control, self-confidence, and responsibility.
Transport children to schools, social outings, and medical appointments.
Postpartum Doula
Provide emotional, physical, and informational support to families during the postpartum period.
Support parents with newborn care including feeding, soothing, and understanding infant cues.
Guide and educate parents in breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and postpartum recovery.
Assist with family adjustment by fostering routines, offering resources, and encouraging parental confidence.
Perform light household tasks to reduce stress and promote healing.
Recognize early signs of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders and provide referrals when needed.
