Part of a 5 man self directed/self managed crane crew responsible for the safety inspections and maintenance of all of the cranes and hoists throughout the mill. Responsible for scheduling in contractors for large crane repairs, ordering repair parts, developing continuously improving crane reliability plans and keeping current on osha/miosha safety standards. Work directly with operations supervision to schedule timing of non emergency repairs and maintaining 24/7 coverage for crane emergencies without mill supervision. Assist engineering department with supervising capital crane projects.
