  • Coordinating training schedules and certifications with the platoon commanders for all duty personnel.
  • Maintaining personnel records as well as apparatus and equipment records.
  • Scheduling all equipment and apparatus maintenance and repairs including annual Dept. of Health and DOT inspections.
  • Scheduling any required repairs or upgrades to both stations as needed to maintain a safe environment for duty personnel to occupy.
  • Assist with procurement processes for necessary equipment upgrades or replacements, ensuring fiscal responsibility while maintaining operational readiness.
  • Assuming the role of Incident Commander, Operations Officer or Incident Safety Officer as needed at various incident types to ensure the safety of the fire service personnel and civilians.
  • Work directly with the Chief of the Department to maintain a 24/7 EMS/Fire protection service to our customers in the Town of Coventry.

Plant Maintenance Manager, 2nd Shift Leader

  • First Shift Leader to be implemented at the facility.
  • In charge of the 2nd shift maintenance crew consisting of mechanics, pipefitters,electricians and instrument technicians. Providing scheduled and emergency repairs of any and all process equipment in all buildings at a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing pigments and dyes for color. Worked in conjunction with production engineers and foremen to ensure all processes were operating in a safe and productive manner.
  • Active member of the plant fire brigade and hazmat team.
  • Attended industrial firefighting classes at Texas A&M and also mitigated multiple incidents as a hazmat technician and master tradesperson .
  • My team held the best safety record in the plant due to my practice of two personnel working together at all times and received accomodations from the plant manager.
