Lead program managers assigned to organize, lead, and execute the integration of KCI Asia Pacific Region (APAC) IT infrastructure and Security into 3M; I had the unique opportunity to plan large global multi-year efforts that resulted in successful integration, risk, and cost reductions due to duplicity of hardware, software, and physical sites. Below are some of the many impacts I made:
Led the decommissioning of 11 APAC KCI sites within 12 months, overseeing infrastructure, WAN/LAN, workforce, and physical space transitions; reduced 28,000 sq. ft. of leased space and centralized key core functions within established 3M sites.
Led the development, planning, and execution of a 2-year global roadmap to upgrade and/or harvest all KCI legacy IT storage, server, and operating systems across global KCI; resulting in 1136 servers/databases being brought up to industry standards within budget and delivered ahead of projections
