Directly coordinate patrol and armed responders' assignments and responses, including monitoring perimeter intrusion detection systems and closed-circuit television systems. Establish a direct reporting relationship between Security Leads and Security Officers. Maintain goals within the current HR system that expressly relate to the supervision of assigned Security Officers. Document the assigned Security Officer's performance via feedback in the current HR system. Participate in, administer, and sign discipline for assigned security officers. Recognize and reward employees, and track the recognition process. Ensure the adequate performance of security officers. Responsible for the requalification of assigned Security Officers, as needed.

Maintain communications with the security force, act as the temporary Security Supervisor, and conduct call-outs for replacement Security Officers.

Perform the duties of, or assist the Response Team Leader, as applicable.

Initiate a response to alarms, contingency events, or any other issues requiring a security investigation.

Input data to the security alarm reporting computer. Participate in the hiring and promotion process of new Security Leads (interviews and hiring recommendations).
