Cleaning the truck after each use, including washing the exterior, cleaning the cab, and putting items away. Helping the driver load and unload cargo, as well as moving items in storage facilities Following all federal, state, and locals laws regarding driving hours and rest periods. Communicating with dispatch regarding any delays or problems with shipments. Transporting cargo through a variety of means, such as by water, rail, or air. Helping the driver communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules or issues with shipments. Performing minor repairs on the truck such as oil changes, tire rotations, or brake adjustments.
