S&B Engineering-Longview Alliance

Provide direction and oversight for the Instrument/ Electrical engineering - design staff. This group is responsible for large and small capital I&E projects at the local plant facility, while incorporating S&B processes and high-value/low-cost partners. Served as Site Safety Representative, implementing required safety procedures, and conducting training and safety audits.

Cabot

Responsible for daily plant maintenance and unit run time for seven rotary kilns and two multi-heart furnaces. Managed annual maintenance budget of ~ $10M. Provided direction and oversight for 4 direct and 19 indirect maintenance personnel. Directed upgrades of plant DCS control systems to DeltaV.

• Responsible for daily plant operations/maintenance. Planned and executed robotic installations for automated clay brick production line. Installed new flue gas emissions capture system to reduce reportable emissions meeting all new state & federal regulations on time and budget. Achieved recognition for site being named best in class for the overall company.

• Career progression from plant Instrumentation technician, apprentice training instructor, team manager and multi-us site process control group member for the Coating & Composites Eastman team.
