I started out as a mate and quickly moved up to relief captain. Worked on vessels Seabulk Kentucky, Rhode Island, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee (180' class). On the Seabulk Tennessee in January 2005 I received a commendation for an excellent Coast Guard inspection. With Seacor i worked on the AHTS Seacor Vanguard for last 18 months doing rig moves, pre-set anchors, and static tows in loop current
worked on the Southern Star 1 (175' OSV) working for Pennzoil. I started out as an OS and quickly advanced to AB and worked my way up to Mate
I strive to be a team player who works hard and pays attention to details I pick up new skills quickly and I'm always eager to learn from others I try to lead by example as i feel this gets the best results in keeping up moral and motivating the crew I take pride in keeping a clean well-maintained vessel inside and out I believe it's just as important to be a good listener as it is in giving instructions, when fellow crew members see that you care about their input and ideas as well as your own, they become more motivated toward accomplishing the same goal
