• Perform duties in the following: Utilities, Compressor House, Synthesis loop, Front End, Distillation, DME and Loading facilities at Brighton port.

• Maintains detailed knowledge of the Front End of the plant e.g., Reformer, HDS, Desulphurization etc.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of product loading.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of Compressor House and Synthesis area of the plant e.g. Compressors, Reactors, Oil systems etc.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of Distillation and DME areas of the plant.
• Communicates all equipment and process anomalies to the Lead DCS operator or Shift Supervisor.
• Discerns abnormal plant operating conditions by reviewing parameters monitored in the field.
• Performs field checks to identify hazards and anomalies not monitored by instrumentation, e.g. noise, leaks, loose bolts etc.
• Reports all equipment defects and generate work orders to repair and correct.
• Takes readings, completes checklists and surveys and performs equipment functional checks as scheduled.
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling all permitted jobs in assigned Areas.
