
Highly skilled Facilities/Maintenance Technician with expertise in general Maintenance and repair of building equipment including: plumbing, heating/cooling, and electrical systems.
Manage day to day operations of a School District consisting of 14 buildings. Responsible for all yearly safety inspections relating to all District buildings. Works closely with the District Safety Coordinator to keep our buildings, staff, and students safe. Coordinated countless construction projects through 2 facility referendums as well as yearly facility improvements. Implemented many new changes to streamline our District by creating a new work order system, updating our BAS in 7 schools, improved our overall fire protection services with yearly inspections that meet all standards, saved the District over $200k in energy costs this last year alone by scheduling our HVAC more efficiently during peak hours and down times including no school days and holidays.
Responsibilities included, but not limited to, grounds work, natural and artificial turf maintenance, grass cutting, snow removal, moving of furniture and items throughout the district, coordinate large scale projects, service camera security systems, operate and maintain the 4 district pools, troubleshoot and solve any issues that arise for HVAC and many other building controls, oversee up to 7 full time employees and up to 8 seasonal helpers to accomplish projects that can only be done outside of the normal day to day school operation.
Responsibilities were, but not limited to, minor/major plumbing repairs, minor/major electrical repairs, minor carpentry, HVAC repair and maintenance, landscaping including grass cutting and snow removal. Bi-annual vehicle maintenance, turning over units in a 28 day window from the time a resident leaves to the time a new resident arrives.
Maintenance and repair of 250 senior living apartments and single family homes. Duties assigned were painting of units, general repairs in the fields of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. Oversaw the contracts for outdoor maintenance for grass cutting and snow removal. Transportation of residents to the grocery store weekly, and random field trips throughout the year. Yearly unit inspections to make sure all aspects of the building, including the apartments, were up to code.
