I have been an RN for a year and have worked at IU Health for 4 years. I have worked at the Acute Medical Unit on the 3E, where I took care of progressive and medical patients for a year. I then moved to a different floor where my unit and the Oncology unit merged to become the Oncology Progressive Care unit (OPC). It was there at OPC where I became certified to administer chemo to patients. I also have, on occasion, assumed the role of charge nurse., I have spent 15 years in the Marines. 9 of those years were in Active Duty. I am currently in the Reserves right now.
