Job responsibilities:


●To accept new and returning students to the Industrial Electrician program.


●Train students on workplace safety guidelines within the electrical and construction industry (NCCER/OSHA). Introduce and familiarize the students with the tools, and safe utilization of industry-related tools.


●Teach students from the basics of electrical theory, Ohm's Law, conduit and raceway, branch and feeder circuit calculations, switches, receptacles, load centers, enclosures, National Electrical Code (2023), etc. onward through a total of fourteen courses for a full three-semester technical degree. Class roster varied from 5 to 25 students per subject. Students of all ages and backgrounds.


●Classroom lecture and hands-on lab spanning residential and commercial wiring practices. Single-phase and Three-phase circuitry.


●Digital textbook instruction, development of assignments for own students, lab practical assignments, grading scales, assessments and performance profiles in accordance with State requirements.

Job responsibilities:


●Daily completion of assigned repair or installation tickets. New service installations (residential & commercial). All tickets performed independently, in a safe and efficient manner.


●To diagnose faulty services, locate the source of trouble and repair. Communication circuits up to 40kft in length, buried and aerial. Troubleshooting is carried out with digital mapping, digital meters, analog meters, digital test run, ascending utility poles via ladder and pole-climbing gaffs, working data-comm cables up to 600-pair.


●Maintained steady communication with other company groups such as billing, provisioning, and field groups who operate complimentary to Service Techs to install and restore service .


●All work performed from assigned work truck. Responsible for own inventory and safe operation.
