  • Meet & discuss the annual budget with the Fire Board during budget workshops, review & refine the drafts to enable the ultimate provision of a final budget to the Board for their approval at a budget hearing.
  • Coordinate with neighboring fire districts & departments helping develop intergovernmental agreements, mutual aid plans, county EMS & hazardous materials plan.
  • Procurement of materials, supplies & equipment & the repair & maintenance of the same.
  • Provides a monthly report to the Board of Fire Commissioners.
  • Approves building permits after inspections on commercial and residential properties.
