  • Leads a division comprised of 37 contracting professionals responsible for over $668M in subcontract spend
  • Successfully led the Division through a 57% increase in subcontracting spend from FY’19 to FY’23 while training new staff, keeping overall head count increases minimal, adapting to remote and hybrid work teams, and implementing numerous process improvements
  • During my tenure, my Division successfully solicited, negotiated, and awarded countless large and complex subcontracts critical to the mission and operations of the laboratory including: high performance computing awards for El Capitan and CTS-2, awarding a new $500M supplemental labor agreement to Northwinds Services, negotiated highly unique subcontract with Alameda County Fire Department requiring DOE Headquarters approval, and awarded numerous multi-million dollar subcontracts supporting various organizations across the laboratory
  • Oversaw the award and administration of several large subcontracts in support of Asset Management Department including those related to industrial gases, cafeteria, and furniture operations
  • Through these large and complex acquisitions, I gained a strong working understanding of these important laboratory functions and how subcontractors are critical to their success
  • With my extensive background in DOE M&O acquisitions, I represented LLNS on several purchasing system reviews (PERT Reviews) of other national laboratories’ purchasing systems including participating in reviews at LBNL, NREL, MSTS and PNNL.
