Cycling, Fitness, Family time

I spent the last three years cycling three times a week with a group where we averaged over 100 miles a week. In 2023 I climbed Mt. Diablo twice, competed in two century rides, and two half centuries. In May of last year I suffered some health issues that forced me off the bike. I am committed to getting back to riding as soon as possible,

While I was riding, I was also an avid gym and pool regular. My youngest daughter often accompanied me to workout and swim. She loves yoga, and convinced me to give it a try. I quickly learned that I do not posses the flexibility for that sport.

My family is into equestrian sports, primarily hunter/jumpers. We were so involved that we bought a horse ranch where my oldest daughter trained to become a professional trainer and now has clients in the jumper world. She is also involved in buying and selling horses as well as training green horses to become lesson horses. We now have lots of horses at our ranch. For 20+ years, we have attended horse shows throughout CA.
