Reclassification of Water Quality Operators to Domestic Distribution Operators. Operate and maintain domestic water equipment to state standards. Maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of CL2 equipment. Respond to customer service calls and domestic well site/boosters. Train new employees on distribution system. Data entry and record keeping on NexGen, as well as spread sheets. Perform job duties within a timely, safe and efficient matter.

Assist Crew Chief with operation of water quality and in his absence schedule work, assume responsibility for crew. Ensure chlorine tablets are ordered in a timely manner. Data entry in Nexgen and Executime in the form of time cards, vacation/sick leave, daily routes, and work orders. Training of new employees. Work with other departments to maintain function of tablet feeders. Chlorinate and dechlorinate new and existing deep wells before they are introduced into our distribution system. Prepare new tablet systems for operation. Retrofit sample stations. Maintain and inspect well sites, reservoirs and boosters. Customer service calls to various locations in our system. Replacement or repair of water meters and angle stops.

Operate and maintain and trouble shoot tablet feeder , chlorine gas and onsite generation systems at well sites and boosters. Repair chlorination systems. Install new tablet feeders at various wells in distribution system. Operate, maintain and troubleshoot water treatment plants to ensure district met state standards of arsenic and chromium six in drinking water.

Operate, maintain and trouble shoot tablet feeder, chlorine gas and onsite generation systems at well sites and boosters. Assist with replacing water softener tanks as needed.

Maintain, operate and troubleshoot various components in water distribution system. Install and repair gate valves, hydrants, distribution lines and build deep well sites. Install and replace deep well meters.

Operation and maintenance of various valves and fire hydrants in distribution system. Pot hole for utilities. Install cement collars.
