  • Relocated to Boulder in August of 2023 and began as Sales Lead in the North location of BCS. Once Nordic ski season was ramping up, I started spending more time at the South location which also houses Boulder Nordic Sport. There was an immediate need for a full time sales manager in a high volume setting which allowed the owners to concentrate on building the business.
  • Seasonally remerchandised the store to accommodate Nordic ski season while also keeping the cycling store flavor. Proficient at Lightspeed POS. Managed in-store staff of 2-8 employees depending on time of season. Duties included sales lead, opening/closing the store, cash count, service check-ins and some minor repairs, restocking/reordering product as needed, as well as receiving large orders from vendors such as QBP, Bell/Giro, Shimano, and various ski industry vendors. Utilized Shopify and ShipStation to send product around the country.
  • Primary bicycle brands include Scott, BMC, and Giant/Liv. Familiar with pedal and pedal assist bicycles. Participated in the current Colorado E-Bike rebate and the prior Boulder County voucher programs. Sponsor of various local cycling teams and groups and led group rides from both shops.
  • Proficient at rudimentary bike and cleat fitting, both pre-purchase and post-purchase. As a racer, adept at advising on nutrition for racing, training, and overall fitness lifestyle. Strength in listening to customer’s needs and providing solutions based on available brands/products and price point. As a former sales manager at a 100+ sales staff mortgage company, able to rely on that experience when dealing with difficult customers and assist co-workers when in that regard feel over their head. And, when I am asked a question I do not know the answer, I will not hesitate to find someone that does.

  • Relocated to my hometown of St. Louis from San Diego during COVID summer of 2020 in order to be near my older family. While still actively producing mortgages remotely in California, I was hired by my life-long friend and owner of Big Shark to assist his overwhelmed staff at a time when many people were afraid to work face to face with the public. A typical day started with a line of 20+ people outside the shop before it was even open for the day. I quickly learned that riding bikes and working in a bike were two different things, but was able to grasp the concept quite quickly: sales are sales, and I had been selling money all of my professional career, now I was selling bikes, accessories, parts, and apparel. Learn the product, make the sale.
  • Fast forward to Summer of 2021, along with my sales duties, I took on the role of Warehouse Manager in charge of distributing stock amongst the three locations to ensure proper product is available. The warehouse as many as 3,200 boxed bikes at one time. Duties also included delivery and pick-up of new and service bikes to customers that were unable to transport themselves as well as keep the fleet of three Big Shark sprinters well maintained.

NFM Lending has “customer first” mantra and is dedicated to streamlining the loan process in order to shorten the transaction time without sacrificing service or quality.
  • Originate mortgage loans using a variety of lead sources including Realtor-referral, existing customer base, sphere of influence, direct marketing, as well as online advertising. Oversee and manage pipelines as large as 120 loans at a time. Hold workshops for referral partners and clients alike. Manage sales team of 10-25 loan producers and help place loans based on qualifications and availability.
