Summary

I started building my logistics career in 1997. I was hired on at UFP Woodburn through a contract carrier in 1998 operating multiple variations of commercial class A trucks. These include straight trucks, semi and maxi hauling loads up to 105,000 lbs. In 2008 I was promoted to a lead driver. This role included driving part time, supervision of 8 drivers in their daily duties. The office duties included reporting weekly payroll and billing as well as scheduling truck maintenance, acquiring rental trucks, trailers and filling vacant seats with hiring a driver or in the interim with a temporary employee. In 2016 I was awarded a 2 million mile award and accident free. In 2018 I was hired on by the mill and filled both a driver role and supervisor in shipping and receiving. Twenty six years in the industry has given many challenges and rewards and there's always room for growth. I look forward to growing with the compnay into this new position.
