Summary

My experience with rig operations and in my current position of motorman I would be the best fit for the position of safety representative. I can communicate safety concerns with staff that demonstrates the importance of following proper procedures. I want to make a difference in the way that staff look at safety and how it benefits them and the company. Having the ability to meet and communicate with staff at other locations will benefit them and myself. Having a good relationship with all staff can and will help to improve safety awareness. The ability to visit different locations also will help in relaying resolutions to safety issues to numerous locations.

I want to improve my knowledge of the organization, especially in safety, working as a safety representative is the best way to do that. The experience I gained as a supervisor at other employers especially in the area of safety will be an asset to Latshaw's safety department.
