Police Officer April 2017 - Present
Along with normal duties of a police officer assigned in the patrol division. Responsible for conducting criminal investigations and filing criminal charges. As a Field Training Officer, entrusted with the responsibility of training and mentoring all new police officers. State of Oklahoma CLEET Basic Law Enforcement Instructor, responsible for developing and administering training that meets necessary requirements to maintain peace officer certifications.
Communications Officer/Supervisor January 2011 to July 2015
As a Communications Officer/Supervisor, responsibilities included answering all incoming emergency calls and dispatching for Police, Fire, and EMS. Disperse and maintain all law enforcement sensitive records, utilized confidential federal and State databases such as NCIC and OLETS. Administrative clerical duties for all departments, as well as supervising daily operations and staff of 911 center and communications/records division.
Supervise and coordinate the duties of all members on the executive board. Fill the role of president in his or her absence, organize and manage all union events, community relations, and financial accounts. Participate in yearly collective bargaining contract negotiations with city administrators. Participate in providing wellness resources and union representation to all members when appropriate.
Full-Time Police Officer July 2015 to April 2017
Specific duties include enforcing federal, state, and local laws. Patrolling the city to respond to calls for service, prevent crimes, make arrests, issue citations, and frequently testify in court. Due to being a small department with limited resources, I was responsible for taking the primary role of conducting all criminal investigations, collecting evidence, and filing criminal charges when appropriate.

Police Dispatcher November 2008-July 2015
Responsible for answering all incoming emergency calls, and dispatched for Police and Fire. Operated federal and state databases such as NCIC, and OLETS. Disbursed and maintained all law enforcement records. As well as Administrative clerical duties for all city departments.
The Norman Police Explorer Program provides an educational training program for young adults on the purpose, mission, and objectives of law enforcement. The program provides career orientation experiences, leadership opportunities, and community service activities. The primary goal of the program is to help young adults choose a career path within law enforcement and to challenge youth to be responsible citizens of their community and the nation.
