Responsible for all levee maintenance ie: mowing,seeding, fertilizing,spraying, rip rap placement, crown grading, cleaning channels, repairing varmint holes, exercising and maintaining sluice gates, flap gates, rolling gates and stop logs. Produce and archive written periodic inspection reports. Participate in U.S.A.C.E. inspections. Repair and maintain equipment. Coordinate work by outside contractors. Oversee emergency flood fighting operations.
