I was a road service mechanic for a Diesel Service company. I repaired hydraulic lines. Trouble shot, diagnosed, and fixed electrical issues on big trucks and trailers. Changed air bags and airlines on trucks and trailers. Assisted on clutch repairs and engine rebuild for big trucks.

• Managed construction projects from planning to completion on diverse residential sites.
• Supervised subcontractors and laborers to ensure quality and timely work delivery.
• Developed project budgets, schedules, and resource plans for efficient execution.
• Installed multiple types of flooring including tile, laminate, tongue and groove and vinyl plank.
• Built retaining walls for structural support.
• Installed complete kitchen and bathroom remodels and upgrades.
• During this time i worked alongside a master electrician who taught me how to completely wire a residential home starting from simple plugs and switches., to lights, fans, dimmers, etc. I can install everything from service drop to meter to panel.

• Maintained pipeline right-of-ways, operated mechanical equipment, conducted inspections, and performed routine repairs.

After hurricane Katrina I traveled to New Orleans to help with the clean up effort. I went to work for this company building temporary power poles for getting power to FEMA trailers. I install meter boxes, conduit, weather proof receptacles in the shop on Canal St.

• Participated in fabrication of the KIZAMBA offshore platform at the Bay Docks in Corpus Christi prior to deployment to Africa. Installed supports for cable trays and piping. Read ISO's and prints for fabricating hangers.

• Installed steel structures, pipe racks, supports, and refinery piping systems using schematics, ISO's, and prints.
• Performed work at heights, in confined spaces, and in heavy industrial environments.

• Performed tripping operations, mud system checks, derrick climbing, and rig maintenance.
• Gained exceptional stamina and hazard awareness while operating in extreme conditions.
