Responsible for verifying, receiving, and unloading incoming shipments and preparing orders for distribution.
Prepare daily route paperwork.
Responsible for loading, checking, and accuracy of outbound shipments.
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and managing stock levels.
Assist in daily, weekly, and year end inventory counts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, report any damage.
Rotate inventory using fifo and enforce cold chain procedures.
Submit temperature logs on a weekly basis.
Assist in coaching and discipline of warehouse personnel.
Coordinate repairs and routine maintenance on pallet jacks and forklift.
Assist in warehouse inspections(health,USDA,FDA, etc.)
Basic computer skills i.e, Microsoft office.
Knowledge of warehouse inventory and software systems.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Strong problem solving, communication skills and simple math solving.
Assist with receiving paperwork to insure
Invoices are processed correctly and on time.
Maintain acceptable levels of product in each slot.
Perform daily date checks and pulled outdated product.
Perform daily quality inspections for all perishable items items and report to purchasing manager.
Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
Perform full inventory and cycle counts.
Occasionally make deliveries to stores with out of stock inventory.
