• Certified Bioquell Operator for Critical Care Decontamination System used to sanitize PPE for hospitals and military as part of a contract through the Department of Defense. PPE was organized in chambers which had to be sealed and monitored as they were decontaminated using Hydrogen Peroxide
• Performed Shipping & Receiving duties, documenting shipments from various couriers. Shipments received were required to be shipped back to sender exactly as received. Inventory data inputted into system, printed and labels for each container
• Created identifiers for individual shipments, labeled each shipment, and documented containments to verify accurate inventory. Using 3-letter identifiers, each shipment label included the number of items, the hospital or military base information, and the courier
• Logged temperature and humidity throughout each sanitation cycle and use that information from Bioquell machine to calculate data pertaining to the efficiency of each cycle inside the chambers, in addition to monitoring humidity and temperature in warehouse.
• As a Safety Lead, I was in charge of educating new hires on our safety procedures as well as managing our inventory of chemicals, ensuring all materials were stored correctly, and ensured proper disposal. Multiple shift safety checks required testing the air for exposure, checking fire extinguishers, and enforcing strict adherence to PPE rules by all staff
• Prepared shift-change paperwork at the end of each night. Verbally explained and summarized data to the incoming team during each shift-change meeting. Rotated cycles every 12 hours, 7 days a week
