Summary

Retired career firefighter/EMT-Cardiac and current Quality Manager/ Site Safety and Health Officer (QM/ SSHO) for a large corporation providing base operations and support services to the United States Navy. I have worked directly for the Project Manager to coordinate surveillance, incorporate safety measures and provide an independent assessment of work performed by sub-contractors. I have developed site environmental, safety and health plans. I also manage and oversee corrective action procedures while ensuring documents affecting quality are current, controlled and available. I also perform on site quality and safety inspections, risk assessment, construct operational checklists and manage corrective action plans. I am certified in OSHA 30 for Construction and EM 385 which is the OSHA equivalent for work performed on military facilities. During military and civilian careers, accumulated extensive experience in structural firefighting, heavy rescue operations, confined space rescue, rope rescue, emergency medical response, emergency dispatch and hazardous materials operations and safety . I believe that many of my past accomplishments help display my work ethic, drive and my desire to assist a company in achieving its customer satisfaction and profitability goals.
