- Recruited, trained and oversaw lay teachers and volunteers to create Sunday School offerings for all ages.
- Led church in choice of name and ministry location.
- Led 20 of us from home church, Northside Baptist Church (home church for 22+ years) to plant new church in Blackman community.
- Created community groups so that members would connect to Bible, each other, the Lord and His church throughout week.
- Led church in creation and adoption of Constitution and By-laws. Successfully applied for and received official non-profit status with State of Tennessee and US government.
- Developed personalized (to our church) Marriage Retreat curriculums and then taught them. Also used other great materials by Dr. Tim Keller, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and Family Life (Art of Marriage, Art of Parenting, etc.)
- Led church in understanding Biblical definition of Elders/Pastors and Deacons. And then led church through choosing and ordination of pastors and deacons.
- Led church to create Missions Outreach to Dominican Republic in 2022. This work continues to this day.
- Led church in purchasing and paying for property and buildings in Blackman community. Blackman Baptist Church paid off all debt in 2022.
- Recruited and trained additional Sunday School teachers and volunteers as church has grown to over 150.
- Continued to teach adult Sunday School class and led expansion to three adult classes.
- Provided spiritual care through visitation, counseling, and prayer.
- Oversaw administration and management of all areas of ministry.

- Successfully transferred family business from 1st generation founders to 2nd generation in 1997.
- Helped grow company by more than doubling sales.
- Created and launched Wax Eloquent (digital marketing agency) in 2018.

- Expanded and more than doubled square footage size of building in 2008.

- Served growing church as deacon for multiple three year terms.
- Elected Chairman many times for multiple one year terms.
- Led my fellow deacons in many responsibilities needed in growing congregation.
- Helped organize and lead multiple mission trips to Romania.
- Taught Adult Sunday School classes and helped launch over 9 other classes as church grew from apx 50 to over 750.
- Taught multiple Sunday Night training classes for parents and Bible students.

- Inspired students to love God's Word through study and memorization
- Kept classroom environments consistent and focused on learning by establishing and enforcing clear objectives. Created and followed lesson plans for each subject and class.
