• Provide armed security and rapid response across a 106-acre campus, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and animals through continuous foot and roving patrols.
• Respond to emergency incidents using established response codes:
• Code 1: Lost child, elderly, or intellectually disabled person
• Code 2: Medical emergency involving guests or employees
• Code 3: Active shooter, domestic disturbance, trespasser/intruder, assault, or fire
• Code Red: Dangerous animal escape
• Code Blue: Non-dangerous animal escape
• Code Black: Unauthorized person inside animal exhibit
• Emergency Weapons Team (EWT) Member responsible for response during dangerous animal escapes, relocation, or human intrusion into habitats.
• Biannual qualification and training in tactical procedures, safety, and marksmanship with:
