  • Work with records analyst to obtain updated Rap sheets and warrant checks to see if there are any Felony warrants that would preclude.
  • Present cases for IP’s who meet approval to ORWA access to work in positions such as fire camp, outside work crew, and Cal trans.
  • Provide Camp institution numbers to upper management on a weekly basis.
  • Interview potential Camp qualified candidates and go over camp criteria and expectations.
  • Present cases in ICC for gate pass clearance.
  • Work hand in hand with Cal-fire and get feedback on how IPs assigned to fire camp are doing in the program.

  • Work with Doctor’s and Clinicians obtaining CDCR/ DSH evaluations and make case notes in SOMS and BITS pertaining to status of IP’s evaluations that have been conducted or scheduled.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments between Doctors and Clinicians to interview OMHD and SVP IP’s.
  • Keep track of OMHD and SVP inmates at CRC who will require transfer to DSH upon CDCR time served.
  • Attend and present cases at CRC and CIM which include committees such as UCC and ICC pertaining to OMHD and SVP IP’s.
  • Work with Records staff ensuring that all paroling inmates have been screened by doctors who are CCCMS and are clear for parole.
  • Assist with DSH referrals and complete ASH packet as required.
