This apprenticeship presents a good opportunity for me as I pursue a career change. This program will help me develop a diverse skill set that is valuable in today’s job market and expand my development capabilities. The satisfaction of communicating clearly and making meaningful connections is what makes this program interesting to me. Also being creative and knowing that there will always be new tools to learn.

While working at the post office I found it effective to learn the different operations of the business. I recently took the initiative to learn customs and international mail handling. While this process is not available to all associates I took it upon myself to reach out to my coworkers who have experience working in this area. I think that communication is effective for growing as a professional in the workplace.
