  • As a recently employed Volunteer Glendale Fire Explorer/Junior Firefighter we’ve faced a lot of challenges learning in our work culture. This include responding to emergencies, staying in shape and having a respectful, patient and open mind.
  • Assisted with station housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping and cleaning of windows.
  • Conducted public education programs on topics such as home safety inspections and fire prevention tips.
  • Maintained records of all activities performed at the station including daily logs and incident reports.
  • Helped maintain inventory levels of protective gear, tools and other necessary equipment used by firefighters.
