• Perform buying duties for ADNOC and ARAMCO projects.
• Buying mainly Piping material such as Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Strainers, Access fittings, Valves, etc. Along with other technical equipment and items.
• Prepare invitation-to-bid forms, locate suppliers using sources such as AVL, and invite them to bid.
• Analyze all suppliers in order to select most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
• Make sure supplied goods meets Company specifications, tabulate bids received and determine best bid among potential suppliers.
• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
• Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain maximum benefit for the company.

Spent around 10 months for my Graduation project in CCAD's warehouse defining, measuring, analyzing, and improving their order picking process. Where new routing methodology was implemented along with Lean principals that yielded in increasing the process efficiency and lead time by 25%.
