• Trained clinical staff nurses to properly remove TR Bands, applying pressure dressing and proper documentation.
• Trained in removing PICC, CVC and TR Bands.
• Able to attached drainage device for chest tubes collection container, with monitoring the patient and the drainage device with proper documentation of output as well as monitoring the site of the chest tube.
• Able to connect chest to to suction or clamp chest tube with Physicians orders.
• Port a cath access using a Huber needle through the skin to deliver medication, blood draw or administer fluids.
• Lab draws peripheral and through CVC, PICCs and Port a cath lines.
• Providing patient with total parental nutrition (TPN) and fat emulsion for nutritional support in patients.
• Placing a nasogastric tube (NGT), checking for placement when providing medication, feeding and/or water flushes.
• Placing a nasogastric tube (NGT) to connect patient on continues or intermittent suction to remove stomach content or fluids.
• Continues or bolus feeding through percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG).
• Coordinate with Dietitian for patient who requires close monitoring for adequate nutrition.
• Pacemaker Interrogation to check the function and the setting of the pacemaker with orders from a Physician.
• Perform electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG).
• Monitor patient, read and identify irregular EKG and update team members on changes in stability.
• Monitor blood glucose levels, Administer insulin subcutaneous and calculate carb intake for glucomandor.
• Educate patient on how to check blood sugar level, count calorie base on the discharge plan and how to give insulin.

• Administer and monitor a Cardizem drip for patients with high blood pressure and certain types of irregular heart rhythms.

• Use of personal protective equipment based on standard, contact and droplet, to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare personnel.
• Placement of a Foley catheter to monitor urinary output accurately. Able to provide foley care and monitor when appropriate to remove foley with Physicians order.
• Initiate continues bladder irrigation (CBI), able to monitor intake and output.
