• I organized frequent meetings with individuals at elevated risk of developing high blood sugar, employing medical equipment such as blood pressure machines, A1C meters, and cholesterol analyzers.
• Through these sessions, I crafted personalized diet and exercise regimens aimed at supporting weight loss objectives, thus mitigating the risk of diabetes onset.

Medicare Part D Health Fair, 11/2023

Pharmacy Intern/Volunteer,  University of the Pacific - Bethany Home, Ripon, CA

• Screened and immunized a wide range of patients, including those who are needle-phobic. Depending on their health, I gave patients advice on the advantages of vaccination and the need to follow up on additional immunizations, such as the TDap and pneumococcal shots.

• Performed bone mineral density assessments on senior citizens. Patients were informed about the value of continuing to consume enough calcium and avoiding falls.
