I am a seasoned instructor with over 10 years of experience teaching students various courses in Islam and middle east studies.
· Reports directly to the Chief of Staff of the Office of the President
· Develops and implement strategic plans for Muslim religious life across the campus
· Conducted programs related to Muslim life on campus
· Monitor developments related to Muslim life on campus
· Organize media talking points for the University related to student religious at Harvard
· Mobilize resources for interfaith religious life on campus
· Worked closely with university offices for immigrant and at-risk Muslim students to help settle them in and meet their needs
· Advised deans and university administrators for various graduate schools at Harvard on student life as it related to religious and spiritual life on campus
· Develops annual clear goals for religious/spiritual life on campus
· Guide interfaith cooperation on campus
· Oversee budget for religious life on campus
· Supervise & Manage staff
· Advises and counsel students on religious and spiritual matters, as well as career matters
· Works with multiple units of the university administration to ensure the enhancement of diversity and inclusion of students of faith
· Trains university staff on matters of policy and procedures pertaining to serving students
· Lead university vigils and campus memorials for the university community in the events of student deaths.
· Offers university wide communication, prayers, and speeches for University orientations, convocations, baccalaureate, and commencement programs.
