Dynamic and dedicated professional with two years at Grow Detroit's Young Talent, excelling in financial literacy and research. Proven ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively in diverse environments. Achieved impactful community projects, enhancing skills in computer technology and fostering discussions on mental health and workforce readiness. In school I was a honor roll student until my second semester of 11th grade year which I plan to change starting this year. In 2018 I was scholar athlete of the year for my school Henry Ford Academy. As a younger kid a played soccer and basketball winning plenty of medals and even a championship one year in the league Detroit Pal.
I spent a total of two years working for Grow Detroit’s Young Talent. My first year I was an in person worker whom spent three days of the week working at a location with certain activities to do. These activities were learning to become adults, talking about mental health and life, and jewelry making. While the last day we spent at a park building a wooden ramp for children. My second I was a virtual worker. Each Tuesday I would have to participate in an online call where I would discuss with others about the work we completed on a website called hatsandlatters.com. This website had us learning about: the workforce, owning our own bank accounts, taxes and etc. Every Saturday we would furthermore discuss at the same building previously mentioned.
